My apologies if this has been answered in a different post, but I haven't been able to find an answer anywhere...
I am trying to install a new version of iTunes on an older (2ghz) Dell pc running XP Pro. I think I am logged in to the admin user account, but when I log in to it, I can't open any programs or documents, cannot get into Windows Program Manager via Ctrl-Alt-Del, etc. I can see the contents of the computer in Windows Explorer windows, but I cannot access anything from there.
I guess I'm just not sure what's going on, I'm not experienced with Windows, but I used XP for a couple of years, a couple of years ago, and never experienced anything like this before. It won't even let me log back out, I'm having to hard shut down the machine every time I log in, which I've never been a fan of.
Any help on the topic would be appreciated, I'm past the end of my knowledge here...
