  1. I'm getting the ntfs.sys missing or corrupt error on a friend's WinXP Home OS. I got into the console and used a XP Home SP2 cd to replace the ntfs.sys file but when I reboot, I still get the same error. Do I need to use a XP Home SP1 cd maybe?

    Thanks for any help!

I dont think which version of XM Home you have would matter since its all the same recovery console.

Try a repair install and see if that solves the problem.
