4GB cards are useless for ether mining and they all sell out too. A PS5 can't be used for mining and that sells out. What does that tell you?
It tells me that since the miners drove the prices of cards up, the actual gamers of limited means are just getting what they can when they can. The problem here is that you're merely speculating with no reason behind it whatsoever. I forged my opinion based on evidence available.
What does this tell you?:
Red = Radeon price
Green = GeForce price
Yellow = ETHEREUM PRICE
Or maybe knowing that there are literally thousands of Ethereum farms like this one all over the world with thousands of video cards each:
And on top of that there are thousands of farms with hundreds of cards each and it goes on and on. It is very likely that well over 5 million cards are mining Ethereum at this very moment.
Now, if those
millions of cards were suddenly dropped into the wild again, do you really think that there would be a shortage at all? I sure don't. That tells me that if they weren't taken out of the wild in the first place, this shortage wouldn't exist. Therefore, miners are the
primary reason that the shortage exists.
Even if I do say so myself, I believe that my logic is sound.
