Nvidia GeForce Go 7800 graphics card advice

Guys,

Can anyone tell me which drivers to install on my Dell 9400 laptop for best performance? It's just that i've noticed that while watching DVDs or avi files, the clarity on the screen is not what i would expect from the likes of Nvidia... I've been looking on the Nvidia website and there are a few available as well as one called purevideo decoder which you have to pay for. Is that worth buying?

The drivers i have at the moment are Dell/Nvidia ones but i reckon they just don't cut it!

The decoder just lets you watch movies/shows with certain other video types. Download the latest drivers (stable ones, I don't use beta).

Ok, thanks for the advice...but shouldn't the playback be crisp on this GPU? Strange that when i play games, the graphics are excellent but on video playback it kinda sucks...any idea?

Maybe the movie your watching is encoded in low quality.

Nope it's not that cause DVDs look the same...any other suggestions? Are there any settings on the nvidia card that need to be fine tuned or something?
