Nvidia RTX 4070 appears to be readily available, AMD responds with sweet Radeon 6800 deals

High inventory is not the reason why these cards are still on the shelves and available days after they launched.

Same thing with the 4070Ti and the 4080. They're on the shelves because of the cost and performance they offer at those price points.

The only card that sold well was the 4090. It was months until after the launch you were able to start finding them sitting on shelves for more than 24 hours.

I remember when everyone got upset when new cards sold out after launch. The reality is there’s no way for us to know how well it’s selling right now.

What about AMD released 7800 series instead of trying to sell last gen cards? And would be nice if they fixed the insane power usage with multi monitor use.

Or is 7900XT and 7900XTX the only cards they will launch in 7000 series :joy:

I want a 7900XTX, when it hits sub 800 dollars, or 7900XT at 600 dollars or less.

I can totally see why some people prefer a 4070 over a 6800XT. 4070 has better features, uses alot less power and has a much smaller footprint. There's very small and thin 4070s.

I have 3080 now, and I will probably miss alot of features going AMD... I don't like the Ray Tracing focus on Nvidia tho. DLSS, DLAA, DLDSR are awesome features.

You can certainly believe that, but going by my local Micro Center (they get deliveries every Tuesday and Thursday) they've were sitting on 250+ 4070 cards since last Friday (according to their website). As of last night when I looked out of curiosity, they were sitting on 235+ cards. I don't see these cards moving.

I'm not saying these cards aren't selling, but they aren't in high demand and they're not flying off the shelves.
