Nvidia's recent 526.47 driver is causing headaches for Modern Warfare 2 players

Game drivers have been doing 10 bit colour for multiple years now, that's literally why HDR gaming monitors exist in the first place, and have for long time in the tech space.
Thanks, that's all I really wanted to know. As I said, that wasn't the case, as of the 1xxx series.. During that same period, (approximately), "gaming monitors", were all TN panels because of their rapid response time. I do read specs, and have noticed that these monitors are now designated, "fast IPS".

Since I don't game I never buy gaming monitors. I do notice that the act of attaching the term, "gaming" to any product seems to exact a price penalty. I'm a bit confused as to whether or not that's a necessity., or merely a status tax For example, does the higher refresh rate warrant the price differential?.
