Old software--Win XP

I have older software that runs fine on Win 98 SE.
How can I run it on XP Pro?

I thought XP Pro was more forgiving than older OS's.

You may have to run it in compatability mode.

First install the software. To use compatibility mode, right click on the software icon, and select properties, and then the compatability tab. You will see a choice of different compatability modes.

If you still can`t get the software to work, then I`m afraid you may be out of luck.
