Only the Pro version of the Note 10 will have an SD slot, both models missing headphone...

Samsung is bound and determined to lose market share to the Chinese. They just lost my business. While removing these options may not bother many, it bothers me. My money spends just as well elsewhere......
Seems to me like they aren't comfortable at the top of their game and are seeking some underdog status or something. Because so far none of these rumors is sounding like a win to me. Sounds like they forgot who their buyers for the Note really are. (No, Samsung my choice was never my full featured Note 9 vs some feature stripped knock off. )

Seems they are tired of winning even amid losses already.

As much as consumers want it back, it won't be back. The market for accessories is very, very lucrative.
Samsung makes SD cards. They were silly to remove a feature they made money on.

Me and many other note owners not buying Samsung anymore isn't going to help them sell accessories.

The S model might have been, but the Note wasn't the line to start feature stripping. When your core customers aren't jazzed for your new model, don't count on millions of teenagers who are accessory crazy flocking to a $1000 smartphone just 'cuz.

Start recording video in 4K and see what happens
There are ways to connect a USB flash drive to the bottom of the device. Some don't even need an adapter, just plug it in and away you go.
You can "remove" the SD card, if you didn't know, and then "stick" it into your PC.
And you can connect the phone to your PC via USB and access the data through Windows Explorer like it was any other USB flash drive.
Lol I'm not connecting a USB flash drive to record video. First off, I'm pretty sure the camera app doesn't even have an option to select external USB. Secondly, that!d be ridiculous hanging off the phone while in use. Sounds like the kind of absolute garbage 'solution' iPhone users jump through hoops for.

I tried a pair of true wireless headphones, sound was hideous when compared with my corded phones.
That's funny, I have a Sony MDR-XB950B1 headphones with AAC and AptX support and I can't tell the difference between wired and wireless modes. I even use the headphones in wireless mode with my desktop computer simply because of the freedom of having no wires. Listening to something? Need to go get another cup of coffee? No problem, just stand up and go get it all the while I can still be listening to what I'm listening to. Ultimate freedom.

Now if you have a cheap pair of headphones then I can see why you'd think that cordless headphones sound bad but the latest headphones with AAC and AptX support sound great.
They also:
1. Need to be.charged.
2. Work just the same without removing the headphone jack so why remove the jack?

I'm a teenager and I don't like phones and tablets not having SD cards and headphone jacks. I don't like laptops that don't have USB A either. I don't want my life to be impacted by stupid companies. I want devices to assist me. Devices should do things for me. I shouldn't have to cater to my device. I also believe that we should be able to put real Linux on phones and that removable batteries were good.

I'm sorry to report headphone jacks have been around quite a while, it was only a matter of time they were replaced in favor of better digital technology. SD cards I agree with, any device that has a SIM card should have a SD card. Again USBA is a legacy connector that has been replaced in favor of the much faster and omnidirectional USBC jack. You should probably learn to deal with ever changing technology instead of trying to grasp on to outdated tech and rather embrace what it can do for you. Welcome to the world.

I'm not trying to "grap onto outdated tech". What makes something outdated? People still use ethernet. Bluetooth has existed side by side with headphone jacks for a long time. Just because the headphone jack is old doesn't make it bad. It makes it reliable. And again, do you have any peripherals that can actually connect directly to USB C? I don't. Hubs and adapters don't count obviously.

Welcome to the real world where people may want to get bang for their buck and don't want millions of redundant dongles waiting for the "future"
