  1. It looks like you can't get AdBlock Plus and WOT for Opera. So how do you get rid of all the ads,and keep away from bad sites? . I installed Opera because it is the one the Hackers use to be safe from other hackers. But if I can't get rid of the ads I don't think it's worth keeping.

So far so good. I think I will like these two add-ons. I've heard so much about them in the past, thought I should give them a trial run.

I recommend using the EasyPrivacy List. It does what NoScript for FF does and blocks tracking requests (along with a few other things).

For now (until the Webkit based Opera is official) you can still do it the 'old school' way and get a custom urlfilter.ini. http://www.fanboy.co.nz/adblock/opera/

Get the optimized element filter too to minimize odd void spaces where ads once were.

In Opera, go to Tools>Extensions>Get Extensions & you should end up here https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/
