Opera AdBlock and WOT

  1. It looks like you can't get AdBlock Plus and WOT for Opera. So how do you get rid of all the ads,and keep away from bad sites? . I installed Opera because it is the one the Hackers use to be safe from other hackers. But if I can't get rid of the ads I don't think it's worth keeping.

    So far so good. I think I will like these two add-ons. I've heard so much about them in the past, thought I should give them a trial run.

    I recommend using the EasyPrivacy List. It does what NoScript for FF does and blocks tracking requests (along with a few other things).

    For now (until the Webkit based Opera is official) you can still do it the 'old school' way and get a custom urlfilter.ini.

    Get the optimized element filter too to minimize odd void spaces where ads once were.

    In Opera, go to Tools>Extensions>Get Extensions & you should end up here
