Outlook Express problem

HI
I have a huge problem.
I was working in Outlook Express when the electricity went. When I re-booted the computer and went back into OE, some of my folders had disappeared.
I did a search and found that all of the .dbx files, including the missing ones, are on the hard drive so I followed directions to re-import them. But when I go to "Select Folders", the missing folders, although I know they are there, don't appear on the list of folders I can opt to import back into OE.
I use XP and OE6.
Please can anyone help?
Many thanks
Lynne

When you Import, they give you options for the type of Import.

Try the options.

I do:
file
import messages
choose Microsoft OE6
import mail from an OE6 store directory (which is where I had copied all the .dbx files to)
browsed to the directory
but when I get to the next box (Select folders) the folders I need aren't listed, even though they are in that folder when I look at them via My Computer

If I try to import from the original location of the .dbx files excatly the same thing happens.
Thanks
Lynne

Use the identity field for the import. You have to manually select the place.
