how can i set up outlook to send and recieve emails from my hotmail account on my personal computer at home. Do i choose http or pop3 and if pop3 how do i get the server name of hotmail. I've tried to set it up several times using http but keep getting and error message telling me to join or subscribe to hotmail. what do it do?

outlook or outlook express will no longer work with hotmail. You can however use Windows Live Mail. MS discontinued the ability to use these apps with their hotmail service. The web page jobeard mentions is for gmail which is google's free email service.
