I was looking around newegg and seen that p4 2.4c and 2.8c's all had supporting hiper threading technology. I have a 2.66 and i dont think i have it. My mobo supports HT, can someone please clarify weather my processer has it? Also what does the c and b stand for after the 2.4 or 2.8? i think mine is just 2.66

Your processor does not have HT. Only the 2.60C Pentium 4's (like mine) do. C stands for Canterwood (800MHz FSB, HT), but I don't know what or if B stands for (but it means 533MHz FSB and no HT).

no, C is jus a designation: A- 400MHZ, B-533MHz, C-800MHz. the C procs and 3.06B are the only ones with HT

well i must have a 2.66b then since mines 533MHz, thanks for clearing that up for me guys.
