"Page fault in non paged area"... AGAIN!

Status
Not open for further replies.
I'm another useless newbie with a "page fault in non paged area" problem. It started with RealPlayer dying all over the place with "there is a fault... shutting down"-type messages, then IE started to do the same, and now I'm getting these BSOD problems.

I have minidumps, but no clue what they mean - I work in IT, but with specialist software and as a Java programmer, not in hardware.
Can anyone help?

Thank you SO much if you can....

Cheers

Ooops - I confess that I didn't read the "stickies" at the top of this forum, but jumped right in from a Google link.

Thanks for the nudge - My apologies!

Cheers

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Uninstall and reinstall your AVG antivirus programme.

Your minidumps crash with various culprits and bugchecks, including memory corruption.

I believe you may have a ram problem.

Go HERE and follow the instructions.
