pc reboots and reboots then ntldr is missing

my pc was just rebooting all the time at the user account screen then it wouldnt do a properxp repair or install so put hd in my backup pc and xp installed fine and also adid a fixmbr and bootfix and when i put hd back in pc it came up with ntldr is missing.

can anyone help

did you remove the thin protective plastic seal from the cpu befor installing!!! sound to me like the cpu is overheating.....oh dear! might be damaged what!

macine is about 16 months old.
it started of by rebooting all the time and i couldnt repair xp or reinstall xp so did that on a different pc with the other hd and put it back and it now comes up NTLDR is missing.
