Hello everyone; I have a HP computer shutting Down after it boots up. I noticed the CPU bracket was broken so I ordered a new cooling fan with new bracket......everything to keep the CPU nice and cool. The machine has been working fine for 2 months until now. The machine started to shut down again.
I'm running out of ideas ....
can anyone please tell me what else could be possibly wrong with this %#%$#% machine?

    thanks!

I would suspect heat problems again. Check your system logs for any clues. The last time I had an issue like this the video card fan was dead and windows would shutdown due to the overheating card.
