I have replaced my PSU with a much better brand and power output. My problem now is after installing it, I had to redetect all my drives, once done, the PC will not boot......gets to the floppy boot then goes to CD boot and asks for the system disk. If I put my XP disk in, it wants to install XP. What gives ?? I've replaced a PSU before and do not recall any problems. Any ideas ?!?!? Another thing, both HDDs are Maxtor..........but they get detected as Laxtnr ?!? HUH ?!?! System specs if needed, Gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939. AMD64 3500+ New PSU is Enermax EG565P.

Forget it..........not sure what it was...........but retracing all steps by disconnecting all powers and pushing and pulling and making sure things were seated.....it's working. Assuming that the ide-o cable as not 100% plugged in, but enough to detect the drives. all seems good now, well at the moment anyway.
