  1. so does anyone know if you can buy a graphics card that would fit a pci slot not a pci express

    my computer is a dell dimension 1100 is it possible to buy a graphics card for it?

    There is a Techspot thread HERE that answers your exact question.

    You have to be aware of power requirements, as you`ve only got a 250W PSU.
    Not a problem if you haven`t added any other drives since you bought it.

    ive been wanting a new graphics card for some time now so i went into a pc shop a few days ago and was looking at the cards

    i saw this one for £70 not the best one but ive got a **** computer it was for a agpx8 slot but i think ive only got standered pci so i asked the guy at the counter and he said it would fit but would it

    You cannot put an agp card into a pci slot.

    just look on
    in the graphics card section select PCI for interface and then search.
