    Nope, still doesn't explain it.

    - Devs have full access to the controls of the lightbar, as part of the SDK.
    - The bar is used for PS Eye type games, like Playroom. I am pretty sure that the light needs to be on FULL to use this software, which means that gamers who chose DIM either need a manual change or be forced to FULL for the duration of play.
    - As above, users can change it to OFF and have it forced FULL when relevant software (VR/Eye) is used.
