Please fix my account

Hi @DavidBailey. It seems the staff doesn't welcome me here any longer. God bless you and yours my friend. This is not my problem. It can only be fixed by the staff. I can not contact them. If @mailpup doesn't want to contact them for me,I guess it'd time for me to move on. It took for ever to post this.

Well, good luck.
Try here again in a week or so.
Maybe things will improve. :)

Holdum I am not sure what the base forum software here is, but on many forums I have seen where with Xen-Foro platform you can slow down a user's access and thus speed to make the experience a bit "painful" and discourage the user from coming to the site without having to resort to an outright open action and I suspect that is what is happening to you. All we can do is call management attention to their need to "grow a pair" and explain to you what it is that is causing them to do this to you, so you have an opportunity to reform your behavior as use of this type of software is really cruel. I invite management to either explain to you what you can do for them or tell us that I am wrong in my beliefs here but it is rather obvious what is happening.

IMO, your symptoms are more related to networking issues or malware on you system. Rich M suggests it might be possible to induce all this, but history shows a more forthright and transparent management style - - If management/moderators dislike or wish to discipline you, it would be in the light of day.

That "spinning" when hovering over your-id, is an indication of an HTTP GET that was started and has not completed

Thanks @Rich M I knew I could count on you. I never wanted to cause any problems here on TS. I'm sure I can make a good member here. Thanks friend. You are greatly appreciated as always!

Hi @jobeard. I'm not having this problem on any other help forum. I do not have malware. The spinning will eventually stop and then I'm able to post as I have hopefully been able again to this time. It takes along time to post or open threads. I'm not having this problem on other help forums where I'm a member. I created a thread. It was deleted and then my problems started immediately after that and have continued now for two days. If I'm not welcome here, I'll move on. Thanks for your reply. You are appreciated. I hope this posts!
If Rich is right. This is a cruel way to treat someone that only wants this forum to grow and to help remembers here with problems

I have 250 likes and 987 posts. Surely I deserve another chance to become a good member here on Techspot. At least tell me what I did wrong. Is that asking for too much?

Jobeard, you are wrong as I have seen this software work on other forum sites I used to manage so I know it exists and this is how it acts. It is the cowards way to handle an unruly poster and frankly was one of the reasons I left 2 forums when I could not get staff to stop doing that to problem users. Holdum basically uses Firefox and what you are missing is the same behavior occurs on the two other browsers he doesn't normally use. Malware inhibits the most used browser but does not affect the others usually until they are used so if all 3 are acting the same, the effect is coming from this forum software.

IMO, you're taking this FAR too personally. Issues do arise and they are NOT targeted. I have a current issue with dropdown menus but Julio reports all is good.

Hi @jobeard I only know what's happening. Yes I'm very serious. I really enjoy this forum and I want to be a good member here. The drop down menus and spinning is only a mirror issue. I have done my best explaining my issues. I need to know if I'm no longer welcome on TS.

I'm going to let this rest awhile. I'm exhausted, confused and very disappointed at the moment.
A big thanks to everyone that posted and offered their help. You are appreciated by this old man!

I did not argue with your information, but commented on the management style at TS.

I would expect management to deny this action if untrue and yet we see no response at all, that tells me something.

I have made myself sick worrying about my PC. Almost to the point of going to the emergency room. My PC is my life line and with my health issues; about all I have is my computer. I have never seen my PC act like this. If this site caused all this, it's the cruelest thing that has ever happened to me on a help forum. This is a place a person goes to for help like this; and if they are treated like this, it is beyond any malware or virus and needs to be called out. Thanks @Rich M. I'm hoping all this is not true. Please staff come on this thread and deny what has been posted here in this thread.

Hi @jpbeard. Thanks for your reply. I'm already ahead of you. I restored a Macrium Reflect image yesterday. I'm not new to the world of computers. You are appreciated. Thank you for trying to help me!

OK then, there's enough diversity there to say you PC is just fine.

Regardless of how it behaves on TS, you might like to take the weekend off, let the dust settle and on Monday reevaluate if there's any enjoyment vs the pain and suffering you are experiencing. NO WEBSITE is worth personal anguish.

Hi @jobeard. I may not be able to answer you right away. Some times my replies post. Some times they are slow. Some times I have to click 'Post Reply' several times. Some times they don't post period. Thanks for trying to help. You are appreciated.

Thanks @jobeard. I will take your advise. I like TS a lot. What ever it takes to clear this up, I'll be thankful. I'll check back Monday. I hold no grudges or hard feelings. Life is to short.
