    i forgot to tell you something that is why you maybe could not recognize the core speeds.

    I have an 128 Mb 6600gt.

    Well I think all 6600GTs are 500/1000. I guess you just got ripped off :(

    I had a great overclock on my old x700.

    Notice the Old infront of the x700. The sucker burned up after 3 months. Stable as a rock. Came out of the blue. I looked at the PCB, scorched.

    For that reason I never support overclock of cards with stock cooling.

    Just a word of warning.
