Problem in wifi

hi, i i have a problem in my internet, i tried using a dlink dir-300 wirless router so that i can use my lap yop to connect.. the problem is the router shows its connected to the internted but i cant use the internet on both my desktop and my laptop it even shows the internet connected icon on my desktop..and when i connect it directly to d comp it works fine...its a PPPoe connection...could it have something to wit d mac settings?i put d same ones of d lan card which is der on my comp on d router...nyone have any solutions ?
