HELLO,
I have a big problem,
i connected a hard disc "HDD IDE 200GB WESTERN" in my pc
the disc is detected at CMOS and at windows but i can't use it
it doesn't apear at "My computer"...

I need help !!!

I U know how to solve my problem ? Answer..!!!

Can you provide more info please.
ie
How have you connected it slave/master is it on its own cable, are the jumpers set correctly, does your mobo support high capacity drives, is your bios upto date, what os are you using and have you run fdisk on it.

Sorry for all the questions but we need to know more so we can give you an educated answer.

if it a new HDD, you need to enable it in disk management.
Right click on my computer, then manage... you should see it under local disk management option...

I have an other HD as master
so i put the jumper to slave..

this HD is new
if i connect an older HD with the same settings it works fine..

i need help...

I FIXED IT !!! :giddy:

I WENT TO "CONTROL PANEL" AND "MANANGER TOOLS" THEN I FORMATED THE NEW DISC FROM THERE..
