problems with my modem(speedtouch330)

I have a problem connecting to wanadoo broadband.

On the modem both green lights are solid green, indicating that the modem has been installed correctly, and the ADSL line is active. However, when I come to connecting, i get the message "there is a problem with your modem or other connection device". I have tryed quite a few things, including re-installing and the turn-off turn-on solution, but neither have worked. Could anybody give me any solutions, anything I receive I will apreciate.

What operating system?

If windows XP, all you need to do is start Internet Connection Wizard and tell it you want to setup your connection manually then select Broadband connection that requires username and password, set up your email if you wish then you are done.

For Windows 2000 you will need an access manager for PPPoE or RASPPPoE.
