I recently bought a set of Medusa 5.1 USB headphones, was looking for a good set of gaming headphones and these had been recommended in alot of places. Anyway, after I have installed them and actually start playing sound through them, whether its games or music, they work fine for about 1-2 mins but then there is a slight pause and then the sound becomes all crackly and horrible sounding. The only way to get rid of this is to set them to 4 speakers, then back to 6 but this only works for about anpother minute! Even just running on 2 speakers, and the same problem happens!
I e-mailed speedlink, but got no reply so wondering if anybody has any idea what could be the problem. The power light on the volume/power switch flashes when sound is being played, just wondering should this be permanently on and not flashing?
