I just wanna get a bit more power out of my Q6700..
This shouldn't be hard should it?
I only want to bring it up to 3GHz
Everything I have read basically just says to slowly increase FSB
    is that about right?
(Other Thoughts: I REALLY don't want to damage anything but I want to try my hand in overclocking and by what I have read something like this is almost always brushed off as simple...)

    Thanks in advance,
The biggest N00b Ever :D

(If this helps in your responses my Motherboard is Asus P5E and I have 2x2GB kingston HyperX) I really am clueless, as always :D

In UK that is over £300 worth of processor, so in my book if you don't know what you are doing, don't do it with something that expensive!

FSB will raise your clock speed, but that is a pretty nice CPU if you want to expirement and get good with overclocking get your hands on a celeron just to practice.
