Question of CPU fan Speed

    i'm currently using P4, m'rboard brand was P5GD1.
    now i've found that my CPU fan speed spinning faster than usual,this was happen during i running game or spyware program.
    would this effect on my PC's m'board?

    i've installed the program,and the feedback of my CPU temp was 57C,that was at normal usage of my CPU.quite hot.

    Yes it is.. suggestion? open her up and blow that dust out (using a can of compressed air of course :D)...

    isn't the dust will become resistance blocking the fan cooling the processor>?
    if i open the casing definiatly will produce better air flow,but also will produce more dust as well.:)

    He means open the case use compressed air to blow the dust off the heatsink (which insulates it) and then put the side of the case back on. Best to blow the dust off outside.
