question on video card clock freq.

  1. In choosing a video card upgrade, can anyone tell me if there is a correlation between the CPU FSB freq. and the video card memory clock freq.? My CPU has a FSB of 266 MHz (DDR) and the video card in question shows a memory clock freq. of 400 MHz. Will this be a problem or not? Is there a website that would explain any of this? I haven't found one as yet. Thanks.

there is no correlation between the CPU FSB freq. and the video card memory clock freq .
memories are chips on the videocard and work at freq made by the memory producer.

Thanks easy_duz_em for your response. It makes it so much easier now to pick out the video card I want. Again, thank you.
