Ram not showing?

I have 512mb of ram on my computer but when i click on system it says i only have 480mb? My other computer has 512 and says 512. I dont get it?

Are you using onboard graphics? 32MB of RAM might be allocated to it.

Yes your right..the computer had been screwin up and I just got it goin agian and when i was checking it I was using the onboard..So I guess thats what it was. Thanx
