hi i recently installed a 1gb ram stick into my old computer for a relative to use. At first it seemed that the ram was working properly however every so often the computer crashes(screen goes black and need to use reset button to restart). theres no way of narrowing down what the problem is because it doesn't really matter what the computer is doing crashes just happen at random points. Any help as to what the problem might be? thanks in advance.
ps the ram is compatible its the same type as the ram that worked previously(no crashes)
