Random red pixels on screen

This is a problem I just noticed today: every once and a while certain colors cause red pixels on one of my monitors, not on the other. These red glowing pixels are dynamic and go away with different colors, and seem to be most prominent with blues. They go away after a while and I can't take a screenshot of them, and like I said, only show up on one of my monitors.

What could possibly be causing this?

This is happening on my primary monitor: a 24" Spectre naga-series monitor connected with DVI. I am using a nVidia 7900GT KO on stock settings.

Also, I haven't noticed this on anything but my computer, because I have been switching inputs to my Xbox 360 often throughout the day.

Yes, probably a faulty monitor, but try the VGA connector if there is one, or try on another PC. If this still happens, you're sure. You will have followed the best testing process - substitution.
