I gave up my :
1. Protractor (nonPro-johndeer),
2. SciFi calculators,
3. slide ruler &
4. pockets that need protecting,

in leiu of my low tech puter.

I don't even watch star trek any more, well at least a week or two now.
No more Mt.Dew, I drink Monster & Rockstar.
I don't do my taxes in hexidecimal anymore.

I think the single, one fact, that makes me a Nerd/geek/freak is:
I don't buy postage stamps and have posted 1,384 + this post=1,385
on TechSpot without getting banned.
