Realtek Audio Driver not recording audio properly

Hello. For some reason, my Realtek Audio Driver stopped functioning properly. The audio still works, but when I record with a microphone, the audio is distorted and doesn't pick up some sounds.

I have the ASUS ROG GL502VS laptop running Windows 10.

I have tried updating the driver, selecting High Definition Audio Driver instead, and restarting the computer several times, but to no avail. None of these options work.
Please help!
