I have the following problem: using a standard analog microphone to record through Realtek HD Audio Input v.5.10, having installed the newest driver from their site, there is no such "Advanced" feature for making a "mic boost", as it used to be with the AC'97 Soundman.
My questions: 1) can this feature be added using another software and where can I download such; 2) is the problem rather in the microphone, that is, are Realtek profiling in some special kind of microphones (which seems to me rather unlikely, given the need for commonality in the entire PC universe).
