    I'm looking for a digital vid camera and recorder combo for home use. Anyone knows any good models/brands/websites where I can find more info?

    Great to hear. If you haven't tried it already, try www.google.com for a search engine. Its what I use 99% of the time and I am always happy with the returns.

    Nopes, not yet. Most of the cams are rather high and out of my budget. I guess I'll have to settle for just a digital cam once my pocket is filled again ;)
