Record processes using something like task manager

  1. Hi,
I have a problem with a rogue programme running during gaming that causes full-screen gaming to flicker. The software appears to launch a window overlay that causes the flickering. I can't see the process in task manager because it seems to close as soon as I'm out of full-screen gaming. Is there anyway to record processes occuring during gaming that I can then view to identify the problem?

Have you tried running a malware programs . To see if this may be your problem. Sounds like you may have some malware. If running a spyware or malware problem dose not help. You might want to jump over to the Virus and malware subforum here at Techspot.

I have, but nothing is picked up. It seems to be an app like FRAPS.

Have you check your Programs and Features in the Control Panel? To see if anything installed you may not want. But I still not rule out malware. Sometimes the mormal programs we use for malware do not pick it up.
