RedX mark on the sound button - Windows 10

I use Dell XPS 15 L502X & upgraded to Win 10, 4 months back...

Suddenly today my Sound button shows a Red X mark & I have tried to check on the below options w/o any success. Please help.

- Device Manger - Sounds, games etc...
- Downloaded IDT high definition audio codec driver
- Downloaded Realtek driver
- tried to check msinfo32 - Component -- Problem devices - shows 2 results - PCI Device & USB root Hub.

Please provide a workable solution.
