Reinstalled xp on inspiron laptop 1300, no audio device

after installing new xp on computer, i have no sound, it says no audio device tryed downloading drivers but doen't work

It`s definitely caused by one these-

Bad software settings.
Corrupt or missing sound drivers.
Compatibility issues with the operating system and/or other hardware.
Speaker related issues.
Bad or missing sound card.
