Reloading Windows 10

If I do a reformat and reload Windows 10 will I get several hundred updates or will I just get one of the latest version of the software

If you install the version of Windows 10 that you originally put on, then yes - you're going to be buried under a wealth of updates. However, if you download Windows 10 Media Creation tool, it should produce an installable copy of the latest version.

You'll still have some updates to do, as different hardware configurations require different patches, but it'll be a much shorter process (or at least, it should be!)

I just reload my original version of win 10 from when it first came out. I only had to update to the latest version of win 10. You should not have a ton of updates win 10 is not like the older versions.
