Removing WM11

Hey so I have Vista running on my PC and I want to uninstall Windows Media Player. I have WM11 installed, but I hate WM and I want to just remove it and Microsoft just doesn't give you an easy way to do that. Does anyone know how I can completely remove WM from my PC? VLC is much better!

The instructions for installing Windows Media Player 11 tell you upon install, that you will not be able to remove it... so if it came that way, it is probably the same deal. It is there for the duration until WMM 12 comes out.

great... microsoft can really be annoying sometimes, so there is no way to uninstall media player then...?
