Router Help!!

Ok after a year or so of using a Netgeat DG834V2 to network 2 Home computers and a laptop its gone tits up.

Its been slowing down for the past few weeks so I upgraded the firmware and that just made it worse, I ran the firmware recovery program and that wouldn't work, then I hit the master reset and now the router won't even detect my ADSL line.

So Im in the market for a replacement the ethernet cards on my computer are all still working as far as Im aware so can anyone reccomend a router/modem. Im not sure if its better to have an all in one or to have the modem and router seperate though.

I think you are better off with a seperate Router/Modem like a D-Link, Linksys or Belkin combination.

Agree on separate boxes, but many complaints on Linksys; I recommend Netgear in place thereof

Seconded, i used to have a Linksys and had alsorts of problems with it.
