Router will only connect via RJ45 cable

In the last couple of days I can only connect to the internet if I hook up my router to the PC via a RJ45 cable.

Before this I would just turn th PC on and it would connect no problem. Now I get all lights on exccept the @ light. As soon as I connect the RJ45, it connects within seconds. I have tried to save the settings through the router page on Internet Explorer. It is quite an old Phillips router, I am wondering if it has just come to its natural end!

I am using Windows 7 32 bit.

Have you checked your wireless adapter? It could have failed instead.

Yeah, the wireless adapter is fine, it can see next doors wireless. Its definately a problem with the router.
