Samsung 5 latest data base upgrades not working

I have had malwarebytes on my phone for at least six months and probably close to a year, and it worked fine till now. Suddenly, it is no longer letting the update go through...I have no idea what this might be related to, unless Samsung does not like something in the coding of the new update.

My galaxy 5 active is stuck in a boot loop it will come on but only with a charger connected to it all the resets you can do with the phone alone haven't worked yet what can be done
