Samsung releases 470 Series SSDs featuring 30nm flash

  1. Samsung has quietly begun shipping a new range of solid-state drives featuring the company's latest 30nm multi-level cell (MLC) NAND flash memory and a multi-core controller chip built in-house. The 470 series just became available in the U.S. via Newegg.com in 64, 128, and 256GB capacities with prices of $160, $320, and $600, respectively.

  3. NO! Knock 30% off the price and give me a peice of bare assd metal instead of the fancy pantsy cases. Who and when will anyone see this? also make them with a nice velcro patch so I can stick it anywhere in my case ..Drive bays...Shrive days...Bleegh. Really.. start thinking outside the (computer) Box.
