I have 2 PATA and one SATA HDs and have a MSI K8N Neo2 plat. To make the SATA as the boot/master drive can I just plug it in or will I have to go through the BIOS? I am new to SATA and wanna transfer all my files to the SATA once I have XP installed. My current configuration is 2 PATA on primary IDE. The SATA drive isn't installed yet.
