SATA150 on SATA3.0gb/s Board?

Hello,

I was planning on buying a new mobo and upgrading my system, but I had one question that I could not figure out on my own. I am currently using a WD Raptor 10k RPM HD (Serial ATA150). The mobo I was looking at getting has SATA 3.0gb/s connections. I was just wondering if my 150 would run on the 300 board with no issues.

Yes, it should run fine. SATAII is backwards compatible.
