Save my soul

  1. I'm loathe to clutter the forum with needless postings but I have tried everything to get rid of this mc-58-12-0000137.exe: Microsoft Antispyware, AdAware, Spydoctor (unregistered), ewido. I've also followed threads addressing the same issue. I'm at a total loss.

Does anyone know where the creators of malware live? It's boggles my mind that these people have free reign over the net. Is there any kind of malicious software that targets the distributors of malware? Or at least some violent vigilantes?

I'd really appreciate any help on this one.

    Problem solved?

I've spent the last day and a half running every spyware process I could get my hands on and I seem to have dealt with the 180 Search Assistant malware problem.

The following link is for the only specific 180 Search Assistant removal program I have come accross. By the time I found it I had already gotten rid of the malware so I don't know how effective it is. Here it is anyway.

P.S. Sorry about the weak Thread title. I'm a newbie. I'll make sure to be more specific in the future.
