SB Audigy vrs Extigy

    I'm looking to upgrade my SB Live Plat 5.1.
    I currently run a AMD Athlon xp 2000 w/ windows XP Home.
    Looking for a sound card with OpenAL support EAX2 and all the other bells and whisltes for gaming. Have a set of Dolby Digital Boston Accustics Surround sound speakrs which I'll be plugging into the card.

    Because the Extigy uses USB port could that pose problems which may make me want the Audigy? I Already have my 3COM dsl modem in one of my USB ports if that makes a difference.

    Also there is a better card that would support my gamming needs let me know incase I overlooked it :D

    Audigy then in that case, it supports OpenAL in hardware, Extigy doesn't, not to mention having a USB DSL modem would crap out the Extigy too, except perhaps if you have a completely seperate hub to connect it to.
