    My scandisk stopped working. When I put it into the USB port, the green light doesn't light on anymore and the PC doesn't make the sound that it found new hardware. It stopped working just after I took some pictures to get developed. I went back to the shop, maybe they didn't disconnect it properly, but it didn't help. Any ideas?

    What operating system are you running? I have had that problem in the past and it had to do with the OS.

    I recall reading an artical in a computer magazine that there are conterfiet flash drives on the markrt and I think that brand is one of them.

    The artical did state that the fake drives were crap!

    Is the drive labeled as a scandisk or sandisk.
    The counterfiet ones usualy have a mispelled labe like 'scandisk'.
    It should say 'sandisk'. Jusy curious.... did you buy it off of Ebay?
