Screen display doesn't fit

Hello,

I'm in need of some help. I'm an admitted pc game demo junkie. I downloaded a demo game last night and when the time was up and the game closed, my screen background was larger than my screen. I have tried every resolution configuration I know how to do (which, admittedly, is not that extensive) and nothing changes. I am unable to see the whole screen, I have to move the cursor around to get to the edges. Can anyone help me? Tell me how to fix this please! Thanx

If it's an LCD display you need to know what it's native (recommended) resolution is and set your screen resolution under the settings tab in display properties to that. If it's just your wallpaper thats too big for the screen go into display properties and under the desktop tab set the position to "stretch".
