Ok, I got my friends computer up and working again after I got his ATI Rage pro turbo 2x up to date, but when he boots up Starcraft, its sized up into the top left corner of the screen in a small viewing area of about 6 by 6". Any Idea how to clear this up?

It sounds like it is trying to run it in windowed mode. Right click on the shortcut and choose Properties. Then in the Run box look to see it says Run in Full Screen instead of Windowed Mode.
